Jeffrey R. Bailey
Jeffrey R. Bailey is an Associate in the firm’s Health Care and Long-Term Care Group, focusing his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, healthcare and general liability litigation.
Mr. Bailey earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2006. During his time there, he served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Commerce, and received several academic honors including the Order of the Coif and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Evidence. Mr. Bailey received a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Slippery Rock University in 1998 and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Grove City College in 1997.
After law school, Mr. Bailey served as a law clerk for Judge James Arner of the Common Pleas Court of Clarion County. Prior to Burns White, Mr. Bailey was an Associate at a Pittsburgh litigation law firm, where he focused his practice on medical malpractice and civil defense litigation.
A member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Mr. Bailey is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In addition, he provides pro bono legal services to low income clients of Christian Legal Aid of Pittsburgh.
