Dean Falavolito

Dean Falavolito is a Member at Burns White and serves as Co-Chair of the Firm's Employment Law Group. He focuses his legal practice on representing corporations, small businesses and non-profit organizations from a variety of industries in the areas of employment law, professional liability and commercial litigation.

His employment law practice consists of representing employers throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia in employment-related disputes, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, disability, wrongful discharge, equal pay claims, wage and overtime claims, breach of contract, and non-compete litigation. He also counsels clients on employment policies designed to minimize an employer’s exposure to litigation and represents management in labor relations matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, union organization issues and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Dean, who is designated panel counsel for several employment practices liability insurance carriers, has successfully represented employers in federal and state courts and regularly appears before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the United State Department of Labor.

Dean also represents a variety of clients in professional liability and commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, property damage, occupational illness and premises liability claims.
