Stephie-Anna Kapourales Ramaley

Stephie-Anna Kapourales Ramaley is an Associate who focuses her litigation practice in the construction and environmental law areas, serving architects, engineers and other remediation and design professionals.

Ms. Ramaley is a former assistant district attorney in the Trial Division of the Allegheny County Office of the District Attorney. There she represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the lead prosecuting attorney in jury and bench trials, primarily homicide cases. She also served as an Allegheny County Police Academy instructor and co-wrote the 2009 Legal Update course for the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission.

A graduate of the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Ms. Ramaley also received a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University. While in law school Ms. Ramaley worked as a forensic chemist for Allegheny County and as a certified legal intern in the Appellate Division of the District Attorney’s Office. She was a member of the senior staff of the Duquesne Law Review, and her published comment, “Pennsylvania’s ‘Registration of Sexual Offenders’ Statute: Can It Survive a Constitutional Challenge?”, appeared in 36 Duq. L. Rev. 563 (1998). She was a member of Duquesne’s Appellate Moot Court Honor Society and a winner in the Duquesne University Appellate Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Ramaley is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
