David M. McGeady
David M. McGeady entered the practice of law after a 10-year career in nursing. He focuses his work on the defense of health care facilities and medical professionals. He is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office upon joining Burns White in 2007.
Mr. McGeady received his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, Evening Division. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 1996 with a B.S. in Nursing. He practiced as a nurse from 1996 to 2006, working primarily in neurosurgical intensive care and post-anesthesia care units.
Mr. McGeady started his practice at the law firm of McKissock & Hoffman, P.C., as a member of a highly successful long-term care litigation practice group. That group became part of Burns White in 2007.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations.
